Marloes Collins, CEO of Allergyplatform.com
Marloes founded Allergyplatform in 2003 to share knowledge about allergies and the low FODMAP diet (professionals and general public). She does this by publishing books, development of self-care-programs and organizing exhibitions and schooling. This website, FODMAP-diet.com, is part of Allergyplatform.
My name is Linde de Wit. I’m 26 years old and I come from a small town called Ridderkerk. In my free time I like to prepare fresh and healthy food. I like to create new recipes and I’m trying to prepare my food as much from fresh and local ingredients. I started this proces when I found out that I had a wheat allergy and lactose intolerance. That was the time when I got more into food and the effects on the human body. At this moment I am graduating from university where I study Psychology. Next to cooking and studying I’m working in a primary school. In my free time I love to work-out, go in to nature and being with my friends and family. My motto is: keep life simple; less stuff, share time with the ones you love and live as much in the here and now.
Annette (1958) likes ceramic, painting and writing. Red is her favorite color, green her big passion. From flowers, vegetables, trees to wild plants, from horticulture to vegetable gardens, and from flower arranging to cooking jam.
She lives together with a Burgundian type and an equally greedy dog. She herself is a modest eater who likes to share cakes and lunches during trips with her daughter. Annette does not tolerate amongst others gluten and dairy and tries to eat vegetarian as much as possible. She thinks it is a challenge not to spend too much time and / or money on healthy eating.
My name is Aniek and I am 24 years old. When I was 5 years old my parents and I discoverd that I am lactose intolerant. Since then I am eating lactose free. When I was 21 I discovered that I also have celiac disease, so since then I am also eating gluten free. A little while ago I discovered that I also have a cow’s milk allergy. So I am familiar with various food allergies/intolerances. That is why I would like to share my own experiences and recipes with others. I think the allergy platform is the right place to share this.
